Fieldwork

Fieldwork is the process of observing and collecting data people, natural environment, and culture. Fieldwork is conducted in the wild of our everyday surroundings rather than in the semi-controlled environment of a classroom. Fieldwork is important in both the social and natural science.

The social science such as history, focus on the people, culture, and society. The natural science, such as biology, focus on physical characteristics of nature and natural environment. Fieldwork can be conducted by individuals of people as well as groups. Fieldwork allows researchers to collect data about the dynamic places, people, and species around them.
