For most folks who have seen the oil in the air kind of opportunity the big data analytics provides, what would you do if provided 200 million US households identify of kind of music, video games and movies they watch and play?
Does it sounds like what companies like Google, Apple etc utilizes? What benefits this kind data offers? I need experts input as well as lay guys like me.
Am literally blown away as I don't understand of what use it is and how to generate value that will turn into revenue as my marketing skill is awaken being challenged and am not prepared at the moment to undergo long or short term training but would love to act upon revelant opinion and comments of others

I find this interesting too. It a bit scary. We give up data thinking that it's not too useful. But people that know how to use the data can infer information that we never thought of.
