DASH - $1000 soon
Dash has consolidated after hitting around $800 area. As we see Bitcoin and Ethereum networks struggling to keep pace with the adoption, people need to really evaluate what is the future of cryptocurrencies. There are multiple altcoins that are looking to resolve the issues faced by BTC and ETH but if you look at the leaders in this space, only 2 names pop up.
Litecoin is one of the leading altcoin that can be a probable replacement for bitcoin. It is already accepted at multiple merchants and they have integrated with Coinbase and other leading fiat exchanges. You can see it going up 35% today due to the easy availability of the coin for retail customers. Money is flowing in and if BTC and ETH transactions do not go through, what do the investors do. They buy LItecoin on Coinbase. The reason is simple - FOMO
DASH is the most promising as per my analysis for replacing bitcoin. They have technically best implementation, a low supply and strong team that is working on user experience as the primary objective of the development. It has seen a good amount of interest in 2017 and now ready to break out to higher levels. Remember DASH supply is way lower than other cryptocurrencies, so do not get scared with high coin price. It can easily scale $1000 within 2017 and it can reach $10k in 2018.

Totally agree Dash is very promising. I love the idea of two layers and the governance system! I just wonder what will happen with dash when bitcoin launches their lightning network? Any ideas?
Even with lightning network, I am not convinced that it resolves all the issue. Plus they are nowhere close to adoption. It is just a beta. For the overall good of cryptocurrency, it is better if they fix the issue. But in the process, people will realize the tech behind other altcoins and accept more currencies as a hedge.
Ohh, thanks for explaining. I always thought the lightning network was just around the corner. I should look up this issue a bit.
