Alphabay Down. Exit Scam?
Okay, so Alphabay made a move to accept Zcash on July 1. On July 4, Alphabay went down and has been down since then. If anyone has been following this, there is a lot of speculation going on with millions in BTC from sellers and buyers at stake.
There is a rumor that an administrator made a fatal opsec error. The option was to bail or take the risk. At this point, it appears they are bailing and the result is a massive exit scam.
As of right now all other DWMs are closed to new users because the influx of refugees from AB. The massive influx cannot be supported by their servers at this time. Monra appears to be the new top market.
