Why is freeloading common and harmful?

-----> Let me tell you what is freeloading on my own comprehension based on what I've researched and understood about it. Freeloading is a person who just wanted to go take and take public goods and enjoying it with no contribution coming from them at the expense of another person. This does not only happen to public goods but also to families, siblings, friends and co-workers in terms of money.

It is commonly happening because that is what the human psychology mostly is wired into. It activates the rewards signal on the brain getting free without spending anything about the goods being provided. It is harmful in the sense that this person who is a freeloader keeps exhausting the goods until it is gone. In short, they are like parasites to the society.

Now, that we are on the web 3.0 era, there are still freeloaders still who just wanted to 'take-it-all' type. These people can be seen on bounty platforms, airdrops and free giveaways. They do multiple-accounts and farms all the rewards while the one running the campaigns has no technology in place to fight multi-accounts and freeloaders. It is destructive to a fact that once they get the rewards, they will just dump it and just get the money. While the real people supporting the project were left with a value-less bag of tokens or coins. Same goes with Venture capitalists, they dump all their holdings to the retail investors. Leaving the project owners and investors with no more capital expenditure for the development.

How can social mining fix/resolves this issues of freeloaders?

----> In my own layman's terms, Social mining is a type of 'crypto mining' wherein you are going to prove yourself that you are a reputable web 3 tasker capable of promoting and giving 'Value' to the project you are doing social mining to. FB, Tiktok, Twitter, Youtube, Telegram and other means to do the 'hardwork' for a certain project launching social mining. You get points and reputation which is meticulously calculated and from that accumulated Reputation and points, comes the rewards in forms of tokens or Stablecoins whatever the team decides to give.

With the statements above, how does it resolves the issues of greedy freeloaders if ever someone attempted a dark abusive intention to do it on DAO Labs' DAOVERSE? Here are the key points that you need to know:

1. Meritocracy features---> This is where the reputation, points, influence and skills take place to determine the rewards of an individual.

2. Multi-Layers of validation---> The DAOLABS team has a sophisticated safeguards for those attempting to multi-account by auto-checking certain usernames, IP addresses, bot-like behavior, plagiarism and copy-pasted imagery that a freeloader might use.

3. Soft-staking----> A social mining classic mechanism where a person must hold onto their non-custodial wallet the project's tokens or coins while doing the social mining tasks. The more accounts a freeloader does, the more they are spending and will diminish the returns to them because the market is volatile and leads to exhaustion because they need to do the tasks in a different format and is improbable and takes too much time.

How can we fight freeloaders as a social miner and what other measures to prevent them?

----> I consider freeloading as not just being a bounty, airdrop or giveaways freeloader. But also those greedy Venture capitalists who are acting as a fundraiser but eventually once the token unlocks, they just dump all of their tokens in the market and getting the 'investments' of retail investors. Making them get 'free money grab' and that is also a form of freeloading.
