Another DJane for EDM lovers
As announced yesterday it is time again to introduce more DJ talents for Dance Weekend from around the world. Yesterday we covered some DJanes from Colombia - today we move over to Indonesia and present you first DJ Dona - a famous DJ in her country - but is she really that good?

Dona Amelia is not only a DJ but collector of various awards, titles by several talents in the entertainment space such as Queen Of Mashup 2018, #6 of TOP 100 DjaneTop Asia 2017, #92 of TOP 100 DjaneTop 2017, Singer, TV Presenter, Actress - impressive isn't it?
DJ Dona toured during high school times already all over Indonesia to perform at corporate and government events as singer and actress. Her background is singer of modern music and EDM which ended her to become a professional "celebrity DJ" in the end.
She is also called the “Shakira of Asia” and has played not only in her home country but also in China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Sweden, England, Cambodia, Vietnam etc. - what do you guys think about her? Good enough for a dance night of pumping beats? I personally am not totally convinced yet to be honest from the capabilities.
To be honest I don't think she can really mix that well from what I heard. It's easy to play house music and dub step. Let's see her mash up some classic tunes and keep a party rocking all night long. If she wasn't allowed to play edm I don't think she could handle the party for the entire time but I've been wrong before. Nice article @uwelang
