zurvanic is doing a good job, they started the project solution threads, plus It's probably not worth marketing this, as it stands, there are too many interests involved and having more could just topple a unstable system. It's a PoS but it will be a while before communities form and take it on their own. Plus it's a few years in development too soon for mass adoption, which is the goal. That would defeat the purpose in my views, since I'd like to see a social media that actually has people communicate, rather than just consume and forget.
dan did quit and I did hope the he was either going to delegate everything or spear it to people, turns out he likes markets too :)
Marketing is being done by everyone interested in it. Mostly small accounts that have some hopes :)
At this point spending money when everyone can just call it a scam is not a great thing to do.
That premine topic has been haunting this place since day one :D
I'm starting a community, in case you didn't notice. I don't mind if you don't want to join it, it's a voluntary community, just like steem is. I also don't care for this nonsense that I am being 'too hostile', because I have a lot to lose if I leave it to these clearly scamming motherfuckers. Better to have 50 solid people than 5000 wishy washy pussies.
Maybe I should just start a signup list of people who want their profiles migrated, instead of wasting my time algorithmically removing a very complex web of preminer accounts and their ill-gotten gains. We can just set the joiner's accounts to their current state as at the snapshot of last night and let the pool reload itself naturally.
i know you were, I couldn't read the whole material on the dawn network, I like the fact you are starting a conversation, the problem is most people care about tone, I don't care much so it's no problem I hold that as your personal opinion that you are allowed to have and I'm inclined to hear.
I agree on the solidity over air time let's call it I'm a bit guilty of speaking volumes but having less to back that up, hence the wisdom silence is golden and actions speak louder than words.
there are alt accounts between the preminers, the early adopters, almost anyone who ran a bot at some point was making a few more that run on python, in fact I even saw a post with 20k bots converging on one of he thousand comments there, ned just said you do what you do in a comment there.
The tone is justified, and most people are not worth the total value of minerals after they are incinerated, so, I don't care.
Rather than waste any further of my time on such herculean tasks as doing the forensics on the chain, I am just snapshotting the chain, and offering all steem users the ability to have their account copied into the Calibrae chain. This will filter out 99.999% of possible preminers, because they are not reading my stuff, and if they opt in (with a well heeled alt), they will be rejected because of being well heeled and if well heeled, their account's history will be closely examined before accepting them.
Later on, the snapshot I made will be offered to anyone to play with, along with a historical snapshot of the sourcecode at the time, plus static binaries so anyone who wants to do the forensics, can. I believe that someone may want this, so I'm gonna make sure it's available. It would please me immensely to have these forensics done by professional investigators, in order to prosecute every last one of them for the full extent of their fraud, which to be justiciable in a court should be very carefully examined.
I'm gonna run off at the mouth until the day I die, so, I don't care. Better to say something stupid than not to say what needed to be said. Just like audacity can repair the errors of audacity.
Remember that time you said you would do that thing when you were angry and you didn't? Yeah, same with the majority of humans.
