Here's what we know so far:

The Drudge Report posted the breaking story from Politico this morning, detailing Ryan's plan to retire after the 2018 midterm elections. According to "dozens" of Ryan's associates interviewed by Politico, including congressional aides, lawmakers and Republican lobbyists, Ryan has made his "exit plans" known to those in his inner circle.

Reporting on INFOwars this morning, political analyst Roger Stone claimed that he has intelligence that Ryan's departure from Congress has more behind it than the Congressman's desire to "go home" to his wife and children before his children "leave the nest." Stone claims that Paul Ryan had foreknowledge of the Awan brothers national security breach in the DNC at least 12 months ago and that he withheld this knowledge from President Trump. Additionally, Stone asserted that Ryan was actively involved in the scandal surrounding the "Pee Pee Gate" fake dossier regarding false claims of sexual misconduct by President Trump and that more news of Ryan's involvement would come to light in the weeks to come. These assertions by Stone support the claim of many political analysts who have noted that Paul Ryan appears to be a "RINO" or Republican in name only, and that his true alliances lie with deep state players on both sides of the political duopoly.

The next question is: who among the Republican leaders will succeed the Republican from Wisconsin as Speaker of the House of the United States Congress?

Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Majority Whip Steve Scalise appear to be the two most likely successors to Ryan. Both Members have already been anticipating Paul Ryan's stepping down as Speaker for several months, however, today's report will greatly accelerate strategic steps taken by the potential candidates to move themselves into position.

McCarthy lacked the votes to become speaker in 2015, leading to Paul Ryan accepting the position. Are we seeing the Majority Whip Steve Scalise, (LA-R) being positioned to be the next Speaker of the House?
