Diary post: How Valentine's and Post valentin day went

Valentine's Sunday..

The weekend was a regular one until Sunday 14th February, 2021.

Woke up around 1:21am to make intercessory prayer ahead of church service.😌
Went back to bed at 3am.
Woke up to prepare for church service by 6am and left home at 7:15am.
Got to shuttle park around 7:20am. Got delayed because I didn't have change to give the shuttle driver.. Well, I eventually got to church by 7:45am.
Joined workers prayers and then service started by 8am..
At 8:20 I went up to take worship which lasted for 5mins and then praise followed that lasted 10mins..
Since yesterday was Valentine's day, we had special presentations in church. Like dance presentation, drama presentation, interactive session and then choir ministration which was led by yours truly 😁.

Yesterday's topic was centred on love and relationship. My pastor taught us on the difference between love and lust. He also gave us a list of needs/cravings ladies and guys seek in relationships.
I'll mention a few.
In most relationships, ladies crave for the following:

• Affirmation (sweet words)
• Attention (this I totally agree too as I'm an attention seeker 😁)
• Affection.
• Security (financially, strength, assurance)
• Romance.
  The for the guys, the seek the following;
• Respect
• Praise (men love to be praised when they do things, it boosts their ego)
• Support
• Trust and believe (men feel better knowing that you trust and believe In them).

He also made us understand that any relationship built on the foundation of money esp on the part of the ladies, will most likely fail. For example, if a lady enter a relationship because of the financial benefit she gets, then she has started on a wrong note and in the long run there's very high possibility that the relationship will crash.
Well, I've shared with you a little bit what was taught yesterday.
Moving on, I got home by 2pm or so.
I became busy. I cooked (rice and stew), washed clothes, washed the toilet and mopped the house.. I was able to do this with the company of good Gospel music from artistes like Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, minister GUC and some others. At some point I even listened to a short message by Apostle Selman..
I got done with everything by 7:03pm.
Had my bath and waited for my friends to come over, because we had to study. We started reading by 9pm and ended around 12am or so. I watched a movie (Sugar rush) before retiring for the night.

Monday 15th February, 2021..

I woke up 6am.
Had Fried yam, plantain and egg sauce for breakfast.
Got ready for school and left home by 9am.
I got to school by 9:20am. I was already 20minutes late for lecture so I had to stand through out the remaining hours of lecture.
I left school by 1pm and headed to the market. I had to go check out prices of things I need for the place I moved into. I realised things are on high side.

I got back home around 5:30pm and started making dinner. Before then I had fruit salad. Well, I made beans and plantain and ate by 8pm. I've been gisting with my friends about an event (mic on flames) that we'd love to attend. Now, I'm tired and need to retire for the night.. I'll tell y'all more some other time. In the meantime, Good night steemit.
