SOME ISSUES DON'T NEED DRASTIC DECISIONS. (MY DAIRY 4)

I heard their swimming pool was one of the best in town, so after my presentation, I excused myself from the hall and made for the pool side.

She walked briskly behind me and hailed me to stop. "Presh wait, where are you going to?"

She gave me a soft tap on my back and we walked towards the pool side. "Slay lady, how's life? You're always on flick with your dress and makeup."

She laughed.

"@Preshchris, there's something I want to share with you. Maybe you will know how to handle this. You know no one sees you these days."

"Haba, who told you? Just shout Echezona Chisom Precious and I will appear anywhere you are. What's the issue by the way?"

I knew she had been in a relationship for about two years and the guy was serious about the whole thing. Last week, he broke up with her.

"Just like that? I mean, he can't just wake up and get tired of you. Look at you baby girl, who can ever get tired of you?"

She smiled😀.

He bought a new land about one month ago and took her to the place. His intention was to begin building on it as soon as possible.

"Precious my sister, I was so happy..."

"Hold it, please I am not your sister. I know my siblings."

She hissed.

"Anyway, I was just surprised when he sent me that text, saying we need to take things slow and see less of each other. When I called him, he broke up with me over the phone. @preshchris can you imagine.

I was silent.

"Precious, say something na. Haba, you just finished speaking to hundreds of people and everybody was clapping for you. Say something to me here and you're mute."

I got up from my chair, looked at her and shook my head.

"Does this guy give you money often? Like how often?"

"Say every two or three weeks, depending on the situation. But Precious it doesn't matter."

I looked at her again. "And you're yet to understand why he broke up with you after buying that land?"

She was just looking at me.

I told her many men won't allow their pride or ego to be hurt. Clearly, he spends so much on you and he can't seem to find a way of sharing his thoughts about his finances with you.

"He told you he was about to embark on a major project that will gulp a whole lot of money and you're still bent on collecting money from him on a regular basis."

"But Precious, won't he take care of me again?"

"If I didn't know you before now, I would've thought you are a beautiful and attractive lady with milky brain."

You can still get your relationship back. Clearly, this guy just wants to cut down his expenses and focus on his project. If he tells you this fact, maybe you may not understand. So he thinks the best thing to do is to let you go.

"Ahhhhhh Presh, I never thought about it this way oooooooo."

Call him and have a conversation with him. Ask him about the project and other serious issues concerning it.

"If you have little money you can spare, put it in an envelope and give it to him. Tell him it is your own contribution to the project."

She smiled😃.

"Thank you so much Dear, I think you have a point here."

"Lover girl, better don't forget your sense where you removed your dress."

"Precious Chisom and bad mouth. You never change."

I laughed and walked away.

Some issues in life don't need drastic decisions.

Take a moment and reflect.

You may see something else.
