Miss Foodie #014 - My Comfort Food in KK

in #dailyfoodphotography7 years ago (edited)

It's that time of the year again!
The time of family reunions, of good food, of group photos, of family photos, of angpaws, of prawn crackers (Ha Beng), of shandy and 100 plus, honey manderin, and lotsa laughters.

After almost a year of not going back to KK, homesick was real.
I have actually started counting down for Chinese New Year (CNY) starting from Nov last year, hehe. I just could not wait to go back and see my family.

So, here I am, comfortably settled down in the comfort of my home, basking in love, and just catch up and chat endlessly with my family members.

Managed to steal some time out with my mom this morning for yamcha (Breakfast), before running some wedding errands!

Prawn Sauce Wat Tan Hor
Prawn sauce, fresh fish slices, prawn, kuey teow, vege with rich egg gravy.

Verdict:
The prawn sauce totally turn this wat tan hor game around, a little too salty, but nevertheless, loving the fresh fish slices, so grateful they don't use dory fish here, but really proper fresh water kind of fish. (Penang always serve dory fish) :(
