Ownership % is from linestarapp.com for the "$150K Thu NFL Rush ($25K to 1st, Thu-Mon)"
PO = Projected Ownership
AO = Actual Ownership
Only the highest PO players are listed.

Chalk (should score high points, will have high AO%)
Jay Ajayi - $7800 - 10.02% PO/6.5% AO - 5.9 pts

  • Sometimes things just don't add up and Ajayi burned everyone who rostered him. Despite having an amazing match up, the Dolphins were shut out by the Saints and Ajayi didn't produce enough on the ground to have a fantasy impact. Game script also prevented him from getting many touches in the later half of the game.

Pivot (a riskier chalk play that should have a significantly lower AO%)
Dalvin Cook - $7500 - 5.1% PO/10.9% AO - 11.9 pts

  • Cook got injured in this game and has an ACL injury. Prior to the injury, he was steam rolling with 11.9 pts. You can't predict injuries so this was mighty unlucky for the rookie.

GPP (should be a lower AO% that has a chance of scoring 2.5X-4X their salary in points)
Leonard Fournette - $7700 - 6.04% PO/12.8% AO - 22.5 pts

  • Locked this one on target as Fournette put up his highest fantasy point total this season. The bell cow of the Jaguars is having a great season not only as a rookie but as one of the lower premier #1 RBs in the league.

Fade (typically a good match up and/or projected to have a game; avoid at all costs)
Todd Gurley - $8000 - 14.12% PO/13% AO - 31 pts

  • Well I couldn't have been more wrong on this one by doubting Gurley. He alone got 18.9 pts in the receiving game which is where the Cowboys were giving up most of their points to RBs. The man was still worth his crazy price and made the perfect lineup.

Contrarian (typically a bad match up and/or projected to have a bad game; has upside to do the opposite)
Chris Thompson - $5800 - 1.46% PO/7.4% AO - 3 pts

  • And there goes the hype. Thompson has been amazing thus far but a loss to the Chiefs derailed his amazing streak.

Sleeper (low AO% player that should get 2X-3X point value based on salary)
Christian McCaffrey - $6400 - 3.88% PO/8.5% AO - 6.9 pts

  • CMC was essentially a non-factor in this game where the Panthers pulled off a surprise win over the Patriots. Devin Funchess was Cam Newton's primary target and did most of the fantasy damage.

Bargain (< $6000)
Joe Mixon - $5600 - 9.7% AO - 7 pts

  • Mixon had the attempts this game but could barely manage anything with all those attempts. The feature match up was there but he couldn't deliver.
