Why DADA?

DADA.nyc is a global community of artists where people speak visually.
It was created to offer artists:

• Freedom of self-expression
• A supportive, encouraging community
• Meaningful connection and raw creativity
• A means to make a living as artists

DADA is an online platform in which people talk to each other through drawings. These drawings are made spontaneously by artists from all over the world with our simple digital drawing tool. We like to call them digitally handmade drawings. Nothing is uploaded. You make a drawing and someone can reply to you with another drawing, adding to the conversation. This is what makes DADA unique.

DADA is an actively creative platform that encourages artistic expression, creativity, solidarity, and understanding among people. It fosters meaningful engagement that is far more profound than just liking or sharing. It inspires strong friendships and a spirit of true sharing, learning, and collaboration.

DADA is a new way of making art and it is also a living, evolving work of art, comprised of the collaborative efforts of thousands of artists. You are welcome to join us and contribute to the community with your creativity!

Our mission is to empower the creative within everyone and eventually offer a universal basic income for artists.
