Hey everyone,
This story I'm sharing is really close to my Heart so.. (@aditya77)

My Step-dad was a recovering alcoholic, and his preferred brand was W. L. Weller. He was 7 years sober, but was dying of pancreatic cancer. I came to visit from out of state before he passed it happened 6 years from now. I knew that he wanted one last drink, and seeing his current situation it felt more cruel to not give him the drink and save his sobriety. I went to the local liquor store to get a bottle of Weller. As I get to the register, I see they have a bottle of 12 year on the back wall.

I decided to get that instead.

I get home with the bottle and show him what I got. He teared up and said the only time he'd had 12-year-old Weller was with his dad the day he left to go to Vietnam. So, I poured us both a drink and we talked about the good times we've had. He asked me to leave a little bit for him, so I filled up his small flask for him.

My mom has that flask still, and told me that it's still mostly full because he only took a couple of small sips from it. He told her that he didn't want to drink it all because it was all the whiskey, he had to last him the rest of his life.

I still have that bottle.

I kept it so I could take it down and have a drink with him on his birthday to remember him. We had our ups and downs like any Step-dad and step-son do, but it was a lot more good than bad. I really missed him this New Year, so I brought him down early after every relative left New Year night and we had a few minutes together again…

so, at the END I want to remind you all, "GO SIT FOR 5 MIN WITH YOUR FATHER OR ANY ONE OLDER cause We don't know when and how then can leave you alone in this world and let them feel special for all there previous last old age.

MAKE THEM FEEL SPECIAL, They Love You....

Best of luck & Happy New Year..
