Once upon a time there were democrats...
And these democrats thought they could play chicken with the republicans.
They bet that they could bully the republicans into doing what they wanted about Dreamers.
The republicans made them an offer. A good offer. The democrats refused and tried to put on more pressure. Then guess what happened?
Yup they folded like a house of cards essentially throwing the dreamers...
