Part #2 My insane challenge - $10,000 USD -> $20,000 USD Done (Goal is $10,000,000 USD)
If you've been following my blog, you'll know that I've given myself the challenge of converting $10,000 USD into $10,000,000 USD
1 down, 9 to go...
OK so today I just completed the first trade out of 10, so 9 trades left to financial freedom!
I bought Litecoin at $68 USD and sold it today at $230 USD. I actually doubled my money a while ago but I let the trade ride because there was strong buying of Litecoin (I still think Litecoin will rise in price into the end of this year BTW). In the end I made a 238% gain and I've left a residual $11,500 USD balance in Litecoin (47.7 LTC) in addition to doubling the original principle of $10,000 USD.
You can check my previous blog to confirm the date I put this trade on, I got in on November 17th 2017 ($68 USD) and got out today December 12th 2017 ($230 USD).
Here is our roadmap!
- $10,000 -> $20,000 - DONE (LTC $68 USD -> $230 USD)
- $20,000 -> $40,000 - In Progress ( OMG $9.21 USD)
- $40,000 -> $80,000
- $80,000 -> $160,000
- $160,000 -> $320,000
- $320,000 -> $640,000
- $640,000 -> $1,280,000
- $1,280,000 -> $2,560,000
- $2,560,000 -> $5,120,000
- $5,120,000 -> $10,240,000
Trade #2
Omisego (bought at $9.21 USD). I bought Omisego for 3 different reasons.
- It will be listed on a Korean exchange today (Coinnest). This is a double edged sword however, it could completely tank.
- Clif High mentioned OMG as having a pop in the last quarter of this year. As you know, his dates are often off but his predictions are not. He mentioned OMG will have a 30,000% gain in 4-5 years (i.e. it's a keeper ;)
- Compared to other coins over the past month or so, I feel like OMG hasn't had a significant rise in value yet. Populous and Litecoin in particular have been on a rampage in December and I feel like OMG has been a little bit forgotten about. It should be OMG's turn soon, it's only $9 USD and it's still a fantastic coin with a fantastic team backing it.
This trade may take a little more time (1-3 months I'm targetting). I'm going to get out of the trade at $20 USD, the extra juice will go towards exchange fees etc.
