Introductory Post

Hi guys my name is Jeremy and I’m new to Steemit but have been reading posts on here for a decent while now. Here is my current take on the best cryptocurrencies to invest in now for 2018 and the foreseeable future.

BTC is currently the gold standard of cryptocurrency being the first to utilize blockchain technology. ETH utilizes smart contracts to allow coders to develop applications on top of their blockchain.

Although BTC and ETH both have scalability issues, they both still have a ton of room to grow as more new investors and users find out about the wonderful world of cryptos. These two currencies have the largest market caps of any cryptocurrencies currently being traded.

There are several newer altcoins with new potentially game changing applications and platforms that operate at a more effecient level than both the BTC and ETH blockchains, but as it stands, these two coins have the majority market share and will continue to see substantial gains as the space continues to expand.

In my next post I will reveal my top altcoins to invest in now for 2018 with detailed reasoning explaining exactly why these coins could produce massive returns for investors.
