To the Moon with Max & Stacy: Cypherpunks and Prometheus
In today's episode of To The Moon with Max and Stacy, we liken cypherpunks to Prometheus who stole fire and gave it to humanity. For this 'theft,' he was punished by Zeus to an eternity of having his liver eaten by an eagle. The cypherpunks have 'stolen' cryptography and military grade privacy and given it to humanity. As yet, their livers seem fine . . .
I've yet to be able to access DSound with my log in credentials from Steemit so not sure if there is a bug in their algo; will try to find a work around. Perhaps create another username?
Anyway, in the episode we cover some of your questions from yesterday and, in particular, we look at privacy coins and at Venezuela's launch of the Petro.

This episode is great! Thanks for the original Steemit content! I learned a lot about the way regulators are looking at trading coins as licensed activity. Hopefully that doesn't become a real issue. Thanks again for the post! Resteem
I wonder if the eagle had a nice Chianti with that.
Hey Max and Stacey you are never going to believe this:
I subscribe to the Daily Reckoning newsletter and this Friday it has a message from Jim Rickards headlined:
Am I doing a u-turn on cryptos?
On Tuesday Jim Rickards is going to publicly endorse a crypto that he claims is supported by one of the largest corporations in the world which is going to adopt this crypto currently priced $0.70.
I can't wait to hear which crypto Jim is going to endorse.
It would appear that even an old dog like Jim can learn new tricks!

Great show... the times they are a changin! Very interesting thoughts about taxes and a new paradigm to fund governments. I love to hear about the cypherpunks and interesting updates on Venenzuela's Petro ico... seems like they did not get off to a good start with their broken website like Healthcare.gov. Except they probably didn't spend 1 billion dollars building it.
Also encode audio to mp3 or m4a, I'm not sure if you guys are Mac users, I am so I can advice on that.
nice one :-)
