IoT Devices At Risk Of Hacking
As you read the title most might be wondering what is an IoT device? Well as me asnwering your question an IoT Device is the Internet Of Things and these are anything that can obtain an IP address. The reason that IoT devices are at rick of hacking is to the flaw in the open source software library that is beings used in millions of Iot Devices. This is a major issue in our society because most people have a phone or computer or even a smartwatch that has an IP address has a greater vulnerability to be hacked. The software flaw is called gSOAP. This is an opensource toolkit that developres in IoT have been using constantlybecause ots quick and wasy.
In my opinion the dev's should make some changes regaurding this. I would belive that they are.
My advice to everyone is to hope that the devs are working hard to fix this and will be resolved quickly. And trust me they are working very hard and probably throwing some all nighters at the computer screen.
