Aim for slightly spicy food? - Can check out Restoran Kari Kambing 40 Hari (Restorant Curry Mutton 40 Days)
I was wondering why so many cars parking around the roadside near the North-South Highway when I went through from Johor Bahru to Kuala Lumpur around exit between Ayer Hitam and Yong Peng. Saw the big signboard Restoran Kari Kambing 40 Hari. Is it true that they use 40 days goat meat to cook?? Or is it just a name given??I am thinking to myself that 1 day I must try it out while going down to Johor Bahru or on the way. So I did on my way to Batu Pahat and happen near lunch hour and had the chance to taste it.
The set that I bought is curry mutton with nasi briyani and ice syrup. Sauce of the curry is pretty tasty. Unfortunately I had the slice of mutton that have much bones than meat. Rice is fluffy with some fresh salad veges. There are many other cordial drinks available also. The menu also have individual or by tray (can fit for 3 person). Price are considerably fair. Since there are many people, we have to queue up to order and it is self servicing.
