I Have a Question

What is the point of Steem Dollar? Is there a way to convert it to regular money to use it for something? Because, in my opinion, if a currency doesn't have an exchange value then it has no point. It's not like I can start a fire with it or use it for material because it is an online currency. It is merely stored in 0's and 1's (Binary). So I was wondering if maybe you could make an exchange system on your main website. Not just a give a user some Steem Dollars but an actual market where you can convert it to real life currencies and/or cryptocurrencies so they may actually be of some use. Thank you for reading. It's okay if you don't agree with me, but it would make me happy if you implemented that.
