Differences between PERU'S PERFORATED DOG and XOLO MEXICANO

in #curiosity5 years ago

I saw that they confused these two breeds of dogs, I hope that with this clarification there is no doubt between these two magnificent breeds of dogs from two large countries like Mexico and Peru.

The Hairless Dog of Peru and the Mexican Xoloitzcuintle are always a source of confusion.
It is not uncommon to confuse them during the judgments of group number five of the F.C.I. to which they belong. Although at first sight they are very similar, there are key words in the standards that distinguish and differentiate them:

In this photo (published by Giovanna Suedan), two typical examples of each race are observed, both are "Champions in their countries of origin and BISS winners".
Therefore, we can say that all "Xolo" and all "PSPP" can be considered typical if it looks like them, according to their own race ...

The copies of this photo explain only the lower and upper lines of each race, the predominantly rectangular figure of the "XOLO" and the predominantly square figure of the "PSPP".

SUMMARY:

The XOLO:

  1. RECTANGLE figure,
  2. Bottom line STRAIGHT ascending.
  3. Better performance in the TROTE.

THE PSPP:

  1. SQUARE figure,
  2. Bottom line UP CURVE.
  3. Better performance in the GALOPE.
