- ¡Hola de nuevo preciosos viajeros! En esta bonita oportunidad me complace mostrarles esta ilustración, cuyo resultado me ha encantado muchísimo (ojalá a ustedes también le agrade). Si leyeron nuestra entrada anterior, sabrán notar que este trabajo forma parte de una comisión que elaboré con un amor infinito. Para ella me pidieron retratar a su mascota aunada a la temática de las Star Guardians (League of Legends), la ilustración serviría como banner de la página de Twitch.
*Nota: La entrada que están por apreciar no se trata de un tutorial, sino más bien de mis ganas de compartir con ustedes el proceso que llevo a cabo durante mis trabajos, y de esperar que quizá puedan serles útiles de algún modo. Comprendo que es la misma idea de un tutorial, sin embargo, aún con ello, repito, esto no es un tutorial.
Ahora bien, me dispongo a mostrarles el procedimiento que he seguido con el fin de obtener el resultado que en un momento podrán apreciar.
- Hello again, beautiful travelers! In this beautiful opportunity I am pleased to show you this illustration, the result of which I have loved very much (hopefully you also like it). If you read our previous entry, you will know that this work is part of a commission that I elaborated with an infinite love. For her I was asked to portray her pet along with the theme of the Star Guardians (League of Legends), the illustration would serve as a banner of the page of Twitch.
*Note: The entry you are about to appreciate is not about a tutorial, but rather about my desire to share with you the process that I carried out during my work, and to hope that maybe they can be useful in some way. I understand that it is the same idea of a tutorial, however, even with it, I repeat, this is not a tutorial.
Now, I am going to show you the procedure that I followed in order to obtain the result that in a moment they will be able to appreciate.
1.
Comencé por generar un esbozo, trazando el fondo de un modo mas bien esquemático. Para ello empleé el lápiz 2B (disponible en el menú desplegable de pinceles en la categoría, sketch) en negro.
I started by generating a sketch, tracing the background in a rather schematic way. For this I used the 2B pencil (available in the pull-down menu of brushes in the category, sketch) in black.

Tras finalizar el boceto, utilizando el pincel bristles wet (disponible en el menú desplegable de pinceles, en la categoría wet), mismo del que me valí por el resto de la ilustración, generé manchas con el fin de ubicar los colores del fondo.
After finishing the sketch, using the bristles wet brush (available in the drop-down menu of brushes, in the wet category), which I used for the rest of the illustration, I generated spots in order to locate the background colors.

En este punto decidí definir las nubes con trazos sumamente cortos, en un sentido diagonal, así como curvo.
At this point I decided to define the clouds with very short strokes, in a diagonal, as well as curved.

Una vez hecho aquello, pinté con un color plano al perro, con la intención de comenzar a generar los tonos. Utilicé el color violeta con el fin de matizar los tonos del perro con el resto de la composición.
Once that was done, I painted the dog with a flat color, with the intention of starting to generate the tones. I used the color violet in order to qualify the tones of the dog with the rest of the composition.

Continué añadiendo los tonos del perro.
I continued adding the dog's tones.

Para este momento noté que era necesario añadir más nubes para evocar una mayor profundidad, pues anteriormente solo se encontraba un primer plano de las mismas. Por otra parte, añadí algunas estrellas.
For this moment I noticed that it was necessary to add more clouds to evoke a greater depth, because previously there was only a close up of them. On the other hand, I added some stars.

Por el mismo motivo del punto anterior, precisé bajar algunos tonos de las nubes del primer plano, a petición del Lobo.
For the same reason of the previous point, I needed to lower some tones of the clouds in the foreground, at the request of Lobo.

Finalicé con los tonos de Chacho añadiendo algunos altos.
I finished with Chacho tones adding some highs.

Para evocar una mayor naturalidad, nuevamente, a petición del Lobo, opté por pintar unas nubes delante del cuerpo de Chacho
To evoke a greater naturalness, again, at the request of Lobo, I chose to paint some clouds in front of Chacho body

Seguidamente pinté los colores planos del perro, separándolos por capas. Esto último es importante, en vista de que cada color posee su propia luminosidad.
Then I painted the flat colors of the dog, separating them by layers. The latter is important, since each color has its own luminosity.

Reparé en los ojos, valiéndome de marrones rojizos.
I continued with the eyes, using reddish browns.
12.1 , 12.2
Emplée una luz morada, reflejo del cósmos.
I use a purple light, as a reflection of the cosmos.
13.
Añadí algunos detalles, véase el as lumínico a contraluz de Chacho; las letras; y algunas casi imperceptibles galletas de chispas de chocolate en el fondo (parte personal de Chacho).
I added some details, see the backlight of Chacho; the letters; and some almost imperceptible chocolate chip cookies in the background (personal part of Chacho).
