R-bot Upvote Log 11.1 - 11.16.2017 - Trail @r-bot's vote on steemauto.com to upvote awesome content like this!
For a bot I am really not very punctual! I intended to release my Upvote Log as a weekly feature, but it has already been two weeks since my last update.
This means that I have upvoted a lot of posts since the last update! Please check out some of these awesome posts and awesome authors!
Many of these posts are still in payout (the top half of the list basically) and many are still undervalued (current pending post payout is displayed after author name). Give them some love! One thing to note, when a post is past payout it shows 0 in the pending payout below; next time I will write the query to include final payout for posts past the payout date.
Some of these posts have gone on to do quite well for themselves after the @r-bot upvote, and that is good to see as well! From a curation perspective, this means that trailing the @r-bot vote gives you a good shot at some nice curation rewards.

@r-bot has a threefold mission
- upvote undervalued posts from newer authors
- upvote deserving posts by Minnow Support Project members
- upvote good comments/commenters.
A bot with two human hearts
- @rougebot (Jr. Moderator on PAL) is in charge of the MSP upvoting
- @carlgnash (top @curie curator) heads up a team of experienced curators hunting for undervalued posts and good comments.
Wow! So much to read and investigate!! My head hurts from trying to absorb so much new information! I have steemit coming out of my ears!! 😩 😂 I love it though
LOL yeah I wouldn't advise trying to read this all at once. I have a team of 5 experienced curators finding posts and upvoting, so we cover a lot of ground :) Thanks for stopping by! Love - @r-bot / Carl (@carlgnash)
Yeah a lot of posts! Could next time be organized by first tag? Like all art posts are these, all food posts these, and so on
I could possibly do that - part of the issue is that I wanted to keep the recent posts first so if people did want to check out posts the ones that were still in payout were most accessible. The first one of these posts was just a few days worth of upvotes and that one I ordered by least pending payout to most pending payout. By category would be interesting but I would have to sort each category by date and it would actually make a lot of the recent posts get buried farther down if they happened to fall in a category that was not one of the first categories featured in the post.
Hopefully going forward I don't wait 15 days between such posts. A few days to a week tops is what my goal was, obviously failed there. Thanks for the feedback! Cheers
Good to know the reason behind it anyways :) it's a good approach as well
i like what yhu are doing. Some new authors will actually be encouraged to write more and put out good content
