League of Excellence and Curation League for Indonesia #4
Welcome to this weeks League of Excellence and Curation League for Indonesia. These leagues I am sponsoring myself as I have seen the impact the original leagues ran by @abh12345 has had on the community. However these leagues are slightly different in that they cater for a geographical region. This region is Indonesia and the tags used in the analysis are Indonesia, Aceh, NCS and KCI.
Check out this post by @glenalbrethsen and you will see for your self the impact of the league

These league tables are re-set every week so you can join at any stage, just comment below that you want in and you will be included the following week.
Curation League
Curation League. The aim of the curation league is to establish how effectively participants are using their SP to earn curation reward. This report takes the value of the Curation Rewards Claimed for a week divided by the SP Controlled. This is then multiplied by 1000 to get the SP earned per 1000 SP in a week.
There are ways to maximise your curation rewards and the SP earned per 1000 SP.
One way to improve your chances of increasing your rewards is to vote at the right time. @abh12345 has made the following suggestion about the best timing for votes
• Voting in the first minute will earn you a curation reward of almost 0.000
• Voting between 1 and 29 minutes will earn an increasing % of the curation rewards split, this value peaking at 30 minutes.
• It is commonly suggested that 15-25 minutes is the 'best' time to vote (especially on known 'power author' posts because they are likely to have more auto-votes coming in at these times - and you want to be ahead of these votes)
Curation rewards are maximized when you vote on a post before a larger voter or whale vote comes in. Finding these posts before a whale is a difficult task, you really need to think like a whale. What do they like and why do they like it?
There are some whale accounts that have a certain amount of predictability. Accounts such as Utopian.io and Dlive tend to only vote within their tags and do give large vote. If you are curating for maximum profitability then you could focus some time here. However I understand that many do not curate for financial gain and they are happy to see it as an added bonus for voting on posts they like (which is kinda what I do a lot)
It is also worth noting that posts with a payout of less than $0.02 are not actually paid out, so if you are voting on posts with a very low payout, you risk earning NO curation rewards.
The data for league 1- Curation league
The raw data has been collected from SteemSQL - @arcange's MS SQL Server copy of the Steem Blockchain.
The formula used is:
Curation Rewards DIVIDED BY Steem Power MULTIPLIED BY 1000
This will return the amount of Curation rewards gained per 1000 Steem Power held
The rules (which will cause auto-filtering of your account if not met so just enter anyway and see what happens!) to appear in this league:
• Must have voted at least once on a piece of content in the past 7 days
• Must not have leased or delegated Steem Power in the last 14 days
• Must not have Started a Power Down (withdrawal of Steem Power) in the last 15 days
Don't let this put you off entering though - you will be automatically be excluded/appear depending on the criteria above.
League 1 - Curating to maximize returns
The end column is what I think is a genuine indicator of how well you are financially working the curation game with the tools, including vested Steem Power, that you have at your disposal.
The Winners
Moving up from 5th place last week Congratulations to @isaideureka, You are curating for profit very well. Maybe you could share some tips below?
Congratulations also to @j3dy and @pataty69 coming second and third.
You will all share in the winnings.
Well done also to @tfq86, @rayfa, @jkfarza @humaidi @gilangarif131294 and @jasonmunapasee as you were all in the top 10.
The data for league 2- Excellence League
The raw data has been collected from SteemSQL - @arcange's MS SQL Server copy of the Steem Blockchain.
The following data points are taken
• Number of posts made
• Number of comments made
• Number of replies to replies (depth of conversation)
• Character Count
• Number of Witness voted for
• Number of Votes Made
• The number of distinct authors voted for
• The number of posts included within the specified tags that have been voted on
• The number of self-votes ( this is a deduction )
Using all of these values and a secret formula a Score of Excellence is calculated.
Last weeks winners are excluded from winning this week. These are @anggreklestari , @alzamna and @dodybireuen and enjoy 100 SP delegation for another 2 weeks.
