Blog Posting as a Workaround to Resteem: How Can We Improve Engagement on Steemit?

There are several reasons that I might RESTEEM another person’s blog post. One reason is that I may want to review the post again at a later time, and resteeming it to my own blog gives me an easy way to find it.

I’ve noticed, however, that many blog posts do not have the resteem button! Why is that?

Is there another way to actually resteem a post when the resteem button is not available?

I’ve found a workaround, which is why I am writing this post. I can write my own post and include a link to the original post, like this: https://steemit.com/steemit/@firepower/let-s-talk-how-can-we-improve-engagement-on-steemit .

To make it easier for me to find (and for others as well), I can make the title of my post fit the original article (like I am with this one).

Of course, the original author won’t know that I have resteemed his article unless I tell him, by writing a reply to his post, for example - or unless he just happens across it because he is following me!

Please reply to this post if you have answers to my questions above, or if you simply have helpful comments or suggestions.

The image above has nothing to do with this blog post. I just think a nice image adds to the quality of the content. This is the "Old Railroad Bridge" on the Tennessee River at Sheffield, Alabama, USA. (Image copyright 2016 by Archie Steele).

Don’t forget to follow, like, comment, resteem, and promote. Thanks!
