Anjani Mahadev Temple – Solang Valley
Anjani Mahadev is a #holy temple of Devi Anjana (#Mother of Lord Hanuman) in #Solang Valley. It is said that Devi Anjana meditated at this place. During #winters when the water flowing from the mountains fall at a particular point, water freezes due to very low temperature and forms a Lingam shape. This place is also called #Amarnath of #Kullu region.
The spray of the #waterfall from above serves as a natural 'Abhishek'. This Shiv ling (#Hindu faith) symbolizes Cosmic egg.
You can reach this temple by trekking from Solang Valley. Alternatively, you can hire a ATV or mountain bike from the starting point. Solang Valley is 14kms from #Manali in #Himachal Pradesh and well connected by Government buses and private taxi.
