Being Part of SawasdeeThailand Team
I am glad that a good friend and Steemian @michaelcabiles took an initiative for a #thai team to support the growing community in Thailand. @michaelcabiles is a Filipino living in Thailand, and was married to @thidaratapple, also a Steemian.
Since the Steemit in community in Thailand is growing, a lot of them do not get the support they deserve because of language barrier knowing most of them writes in their own language.
At the moment, I am part of @steemph community, and was also welcomed by some groups like @steemitdavao and @steemitachievers. I am also aiming for SteemPH Pangasinan soon with my teammates will become a part of.
I have been a Steemian for more than 7 months, yet I am still exploring a lot of things. I tried out for Curie on Discord and my first proposal was approved. Nevertheless, they look for exceptional post. So it means quality post is not enough, but it should be exceptional. So what will happen to quality posters? Don't they deserve a nod? I think the standards depends on every person, and everyone has different perception on things.
I don't have a high Steem Power, and I have self-delegation. I do make curation on a lot of members. I know my contribution wasn't as huge as the whales or dolphins does, but I am adding some few cents in different posts. I don't go for curation trail, and I prefer manual voting. No offense but by doing manual voting, I can give and adjust the amount of upvote I can give to content creators.
Invited to part of @sawasdeethailand curation team
@michaelcabiles took this initiative by inviting me and some teammates to join this curation team to support Thai content creators. Do check the introduction post of @sawasdeethailand. I never hesitated to accept the invitation as my way to support other Steemians other than from my own country. As stated at the introduction post, it is not our aim to compete with other curation team, rather support a striving community.
@sawasdeethailand needs help as well, and we are open if there some Steemian out there willing to support the curation team through SP delegation.
Team Members
At the moment, we are seven members of this team, and if it thrives, hoping it will grow soon. The members were:
@rigaronib, The King of Holi-Art
@michaelcabiles
@bobiecayao
@wondersofnature
@thidaratapple
@wagun001
and yours truly,
@iyanpol12
Hoping for the success of the team, and we encourage #thai content creators to write quality contents and Steem on!

Hi Sir @iyanpol12, I have a thai friend I've known for almost 7 years now thru facebook and I've been able to convinced him joined the platform and he successfully made it here last month. But he haven't posting anything yet till now. I tried finding some fellow thai who can help him explain things here on steemit using their own language. Then I found ms. @mayasiam. She did gave me reference for some tips for newbies like my thai friend. ofcourse that post was written in their language and I told my friend about it. I think my friend is finding hard time creating post because he think that he's not that good in speaking and writing in English. I am so glad that you have a group like this. I will tell him about this and I know that he'll be happy to know that there are people like you that wants to help thai friends like them. Kuddos to your group Sir :) If there's anything I can help, please let me know. I'd love to be part of this team :)
@mayasiam is a good person and a very helpful Thai Steemian. What is the username of your friend @annazsarinacruz?
She really is @sawasdeethailand :)
my thai friend is @asurao :)
@annazsarinacruz, I just visited your friend's account @asurao but, he haven't started to write at his blog yet. Where could we contact him?
Like what I have mentioned, he haven't posting anything yet. I been in contact with him using messenger. But I'll try first to tell him about this and will get back to you soon once I have the chance to talk to him already. :) Thank you for helping him in advance :)
