Thank you for this very valuable information! Between the internet, social media and being a creature of habit my writing/English has gone downhill! I pray my group finds this as valuable as I do! Thank you so much for your valiant efforts to improve the Steemit platform and coincidently all of our investments!
On another note, I need to stop using as much "!" Punctuations!😜 Maybe you or @ntowl can broach this subject in the near future.

Funny, earlier today I was thinking I should cover punctuation, particularly exclamation points. I use them way too much as well to indicate my enthusiasm but too much is too much!

it's sometimes hard to contain or express enthusiasm in writing. A challenge that would definitely improve our writing to use less ! and more of the craft of words. You can do it.
I have the hardest time with that. I'll often go through and take out exclamation points so I don't look overtly eccentric.
And then I switch the out for smileys because, well, I want people to know I'm excited! Or kidding, since I'm a smartass at times and that has a tendency to come across all wrong on the screen. 😏
Excellent post, BTW. There are some great writers on here that would probably have more votes if they heeded the words. Resteeming! There's that damn exclamation point again - I'm going to end this here because the urge for another smiley is just...too...strong...ARGGHHHH
