In the spirit of Curie's transparency, we wish to use this weekly section as an ongoing development blog on this community project. It will serve to communicate our progress on top of the many casual exchanges happening in Curie’s server on discord.

Streemian and Curator Recommendations
Streemian (@curie's curation platform) recently shut down and ended all its services during the week. On request, the curie guild was restored until our replacement is available. In light of this, curator recommendations are suspended due to Streemian registrations being disabled. Development of a replacement is underway. We hope to have it available soon.
Witness Update
Based on the security patch annoucment by steemit, @curie's witness nodes/seed have been updated for the security patch. RPC Node is still TBA . You can always visit the #witness-enquiry channel on discord regarding any information about @curie's witness activities.

These undifferentiated lists of authors are not really useful to me. I would love to follow a curie-run account that resteems one or two excellent posts per day. That would be valuable.
You have a good point there. Resteems normally are exceptional ones. We are publishing Curie Author Showcase posts every Friday.
There are weekly Author's Showcase posts, which highlight the best content from the week. Furthermore, truly exceptional posts are resteemed from the @curie account. If you see the @curie blog, you'll see a couple of resteems every week for brilliant content.

I do agree that the dump of authors here is not helpful. It was done as a response to heavy criticism for perceived-lack-of-transparency nearly a year ago, and the tradition has continued, but I don't think it's relevant anymore either. After all, every Curie vote is easily accessible on the blockchain too.

This is the sort of comment that curie strives for, congratulations on the upvote and more importantly, keep up the good work.
I had just gotten off of work about a half an hour prior. Was finally getting comfy in bad; coffee beside me on the nightstand and some X-Files cueing up on the TV.
I pulled up my recent post hoping to see a few pennies in there, and a vote or two from various Steem friends I've made since joining only a month ago. "I can always depend on them." I thought and sipped my coffee.
Reloading the page I watched to counter jump from 1 up vote (my own :D) to 100. I blinked at the 3 digits.
I looked at the 1000's of pennies... I blinked again.
I saw the Curie message in the comments and slowly began to understand what I was looking at.
It's been several days and I'm back at work now, where I usually get my writing done; and I'm really not sure how to get back to it after that!
If I had thought there was a trial before in trying to produce quality content that others might like to read; then that's only gotten worse now!

I mean that though; Thank you! It's always nice to have a few people enjoy what you do; and tell you to keep at it. It's another to be be put up on a grandstand alongside producers of quality and realize "Hey, I can be up here too!"
