Women Harvest Rice
When the harvest season arrives, the farmers will be occupied by work in the fields. Lots of activities to do. These activities are in the form of cut rice, lift to collect at one point and knock the grain of rice.
For readers to know that all the process is done manually, without using modern technology and advanced machinery. Of course this requires a fee or a fairly long time, this resulted in increasing the cost of farmers.
There are some places that have switched to the machine in working on these processes, but there are also places that have not been helped by the tractor engine, this is caused by several factors, including soil conditions are very soft, causing the tractor retained due to enter the soil.
Like where I visit it is still using a manual tool to cut the rice called a sickle. The process of cutting is done by women, which is done in a crowded manner and the work is quickly completed.
After cutting the rice stalk then tied. The fastener is not a rope but uses another rice rod.
