RE: Last posting on Gwan Chock Sa, the Praying room for the dead and Miscellanies
There is a similar water source at Pune's Sinhgad Fort, India. Just like Gwan Chocka...
Its called DevTaki in india(or Gods Tank), which is a source of fesh, tasty and cold water. Its on Sinhgad Fort, which is situated on a hill about 760 metres above ground and 1,312 metres above mean sea level.
This is The sinhgad Fort from a distance.
This is the entry to the fort, built in rocks, in the mid 1700's. It was a fort in the armory of Shivaji Maharaj, the Great Maratha King.
Nobody know how the water reaches at that height and it just never get over. Its fresh, its tasty and its cold, even when temperature on the fort are 42'C.
Amazing right!
True as old
