北京孔庙内还生长有很多数百年历史的古树，其中最大的一棵柏树生长在大成殿前石阶下，被称为触奸柏，为元代国子监祭酒许衡所植，已近七百年的历史。相传大奸臣严嵩在替皇上祭孔的时候路过此柏，忽然大风袭来，树枝晃动挑掉他的乌纱帽，自此后人称此树为“触奸柏”

大成殿的四周摆放着很多古代的乐器，如：鼓，编钟，古琴等。

走过大成寺，孔庙的后身有孔子的行教像，以及门下72圣贤的介绍。

This is the disciple of Confucius, Mr Zi Lu

这是孔子弟子，子路的圣贤像。

Here is the monument forest, carved in Qianlong years, recorded above the Analects of Confucius, and the experiences of later generations.

这边是石碑林，刻于乾隆年间，上面记载着论语，及后人的心得体会。
