Coffee ...
Coffee is the main commodity produced by the community of Central Aceh. Every year Central Aceh is able to export coffee to various countries, the quality of Central Aceh's coffee has also been undoubted. Besides coffee beans, coffee skin is also utilized by the people of Central Aceh. The number of people who depend their lives on coffee makes coffee a part of the life of the people of Central Aceh.
Coffee for the people of Central Aceh is not just a livelihood but more than that. Coffee is like a mate, every day always struggling with coffee. Love for coffee can no longer be broken. Coffee culture (the name for coffee drinking activities) has also been carried out for generations. The culture of drinking coffee is done by the people of Central Aceh at home with their families. However, as the era of culture developed, drinking coffee which is usually done in the house became more identical outside the house or in a coffee shop.
This cultural shift has positive and negative sides, assessed from the positive side with the rise of people who drink coffee outside the home opening up business opportunities and employment opportunities. The Central Aceh community, which was originally only gardening, can now become a manager of coffee waring and a restaurant that provides mainstay Gayo coffee. In addition, young baristas have emerged that are increasingly reliable in brewing delicious coffee. The enthusiasm of young people about coffee is very good, they are in droves to be able to brew delicious coffee. However, the negative side that can arise is the fading of the culture of drinking coffee in the house which can increase family harmony. Most young people now prefer to spend time outdoors.
We can draw conclusions from coffee and culture very closely, how coffee is valued and how the culture is now a concern. Hopefully as a smart generation we can understand how to balance the two. It is not wrong to drink coffee outside the house, if it is balanced while maintaining friendship with parents.
