In Indonesia we used to call this food with Bakso.Bakso is very popular and can be found all over Indonesia.Bakso is a type of meat ball that is commonly found in Indonesian cuisine.
Di Indonesia kami biasa menyebutnya makanan ini dengan Bakso.Bakso sangat populer dan dapat ditemukan di seluruh Indonesia. Bakso adalah jenis bola daging yang lazim ditemukan pada masakan Indonesia.
Generally made from a mixture of ground beef and tapioca flour, but there are also bakso made from chicken, fish, or shrimp and even buffalo meat. In the presentation, meatballs are generally served hot with a clear gravy broth, mixed with noodles, vermicelli, sprouts, tofu, sometimes eggs and sprinkled with fried onions and celery.
Umumnya dibuat dari campuran daging sapi giling dan tepung tapioka, akan tetapi ada juga bakso yang terbuat dari daging ayam, ikan, atau udang bahkan daging kerbau. Dalam penyajiannya, bakso umumnya disajikan panas-panas dengan kuah kaldu sapi bening,dicampur mi, bihun, taoge, tahu, terkadang telur dan ditaburi bawang goreng dan seledri.

Saya biasanya menikmati bakso itu langsung makan bakso dan mie nya dan pelan-pelan menghabiskan kuahnya.Tapi ternyata ada juga menikmatinya dengan cara mie dan kuahnya diabiskan duluan setelah itu menyantap baksonya, kemudian baksonya dicocol pake sambel. "konon katanya cara ini lebih keren saat menikmati bakso".
