Me the Introvert, Social Distancing and Maintaining Connections
Good Afternoon and Happy Thursday!
Yes, I am an Introvert and I love that I can finally embrace that fact and not have to pretend to be outgoing and love parties. I remember being in high school and going to dances on a Friday or Saturday night at the school and sitting there watching the clock for it to be time to go home. It was pure torture.

My favorite jobs were always the ones that I could do in the background out of the public eye. Don't get me wrong, I love the community here online and interacting with people here. I just don't enjoy being in a room full of people and a bunch of noise going on. It exhausts me. When I have gone to live events I have taken a hotel room by myself. I love being able to have my personal space to unwind at night after being in training all day long. I used to hang out in bars a lot too and I worked in the restaurant industry for several years.
I miss hanging out with my parents to have dinner once or twice a week. They only live five minutes away and since they are elderly and not in the best of health I haven't been able to do anything but drop off groceries right inside their back door. No physical contact as in hugs or kisses on the forehead.
Anyway, yes social distancing is important to stay safe and healthy right now and prevent the spread of COVID-19. But if you live alone, make sure you are checking in with someone and keeping up with your connections. This time might be easier for Introverts to handle but there is such a thing as too much alone time. I am married and I have close family connections and friends with whom I can check-in pretty much daily.
Have a great rest of your day! See you tomorrow!
You would not fit in Spanish society... They like to gather and ALL speak in the same time... lol....
