Steem Vs. Tron - What Does It Mean For CTP?
So....It's been a crazy few days on the Steem blockchain. And without going into too many details (there is plenty of it on the blockchain and even Twitter) let me be crystal clear on this...
CTP Token and the CTP Tribe is ALL about STEEM!
We love Steem. This community is absolutely amazing to be a part of and we wouldn't change a thing. We came and built on this blockchain for one reason and one reason only....Community!
At the end of the day...This is what you, the CTP Community can control!

You can also vote for witnesses which helps this crazy blockchain exist. I know voting for witnesses seems EXTREMELY confusing for people that are new to this blockchain but here's basically what it means....
The Steem blockchain works on something called a delegated proof of stake chain. And blocks are verified by a governing body called witnesses. The top 20 witnesses are responsible for protecting the chain and deciding whether or not to hard fork the chain...That's a SUPER simple explanation....
But YOUR VOTE MATTERS!

Its great to see so many sites on Firepay, it really has been a boon to the industry :)
As for Voting, I agree , do not vote for anyone that doesnt use the system.
First thing I do is click on the member and read what they write to see if they are genuine or hype
Yup, we're not whales but we make sure each vote goes to someone who contributes to Steem
Soon, we will hit that 100 mark of merchants... It would be nice to see websites from other branches... but, we are at the beginning... ;)

It's amazing to be a part of it....Passion is everywhere here!
Any of the ones you recommend part of the group that flexed their muscles and threw the first punch? If so, they should be identified as such. I wouldn't vote for them or the Tron/Sun witnesses. Bring in a new group, stop the nonsense and threats. Either hard fork and go your own way or don't. In the Grand Scheme of Things it is not going to matter either way.
Right now, it's important to get consensus and the big boy witnesses back in...Once that happens, I'll be changing my votes around. We're in protection mode right now...But I agree....There needs to be a change at the top.
