Blockchain Solutions Will Supplant Incumbents
Every generation believes their technology will reign supreme, only to be overtaken by tools with even more advanced capabilities. Change is a state that does not end unless we cease to innovate. There are some powerful blockchain tools listed below that will challenge the incumbents, with more on the horizon.
We will see massive disruption, just as MySpace gave way to Facebook and Lycos was overtaken by Google. Not just better specific features, but entirely new solutions and more comprehensive experiences. Blockchain can improve trust, privacy, resilience, scale-ability challenges, and bring in entirely new economic models.
Times are changing and so is our tech.

How is Block chain going to be safe than the alternatives?
One way the the immutability of the chain. Once a transaction is embedded (after enough validations and subsequent blocks) it becomes permanent. Nobody can ever change them. In that way, it is tough for someone to counterfeit currency.
Good comment but do you believe it would be harder to counterfeit or continue to attack like the most resent ones?
Because validated transactions are near impossible to undermine, the attackers are pursuing other methods, like man-in-the-middle attacks and private-key theft, to achieve their goals.
There is great possibilities but equally there is risk in such innovation. Myself, I am looking towards the future with cautious optimism. The benefits will outweigh the threats and as pain is experienced, the industry will respond with mitigations to the risks.
We must be ready to face the progress of the era, because technological progress continues to grow.
With such a powerful tool, there will be equally powerful challenges.
