Crystal Photography - Tiny Crystals #3 (Meet The Alien)

I love crystals, and I love to photograph them. There is something about getting up close and personal and examining them from every angle that is almost meditative. I need to learn this skill without taking photos now.

During this particular photography session I found myself naming some of my stones, I mean, if you look at the one above, how could I not??? This little one has been christened The Alien. He (yes, I even chose a gender) looks like a really sweet little visitor from planet Orange. I also chose to share these orange colours today, as the weather is feeling quite oppressive. I think we are due for another major storm, and these warm colours help brighten up the day a little for me!

There is so much beauty around us, if only we would notice it.
