All Cryptopay Visa card blocked by Visa

Card program closed. How to get funds from the blocked card?
Cryptopay card program was suddenly closed per VISA instructions. Here is a step by step guide on how to withdraw funds stored on the card.

On January, 5th, 2018 due to the change in the VISA operating permission all plastic and virtual prepaid cards were closed by our card issuer without any prior notification.

Regardless of that unexpected termination of the agreement, our former card issuer Wavecrest still has its legal and regulatory obligations to return funds to our clients.

In order to proceed with the refund please fill the Card Unload Authorisation Form that you’ve received via email and send it to [email protected]

The form should be printed out and filled out by hand.

All details should be the same as in your Cryptopay account. Please, make sure that the email address in the form is the one that you've used to register at Cryptopay.

User ID is a cardholder identification number and it was sent to you along with the form.
*If for some reason you haven't received it or lost it, feel free to contact our support team - they will provide the ID number to you.

Make sure that you have written the exact amount left on the card and please don't round off the number. In the Card Provider Company field write - Cryptopay.

In the reason field please state: Card program closure on January, 5.

Once you have signed the form please send a photo or a scan of it to the card issuer. Funds from your card(s) will be transferred to Cryptopay pre-funding account within 15 days after Wavecrest receives a form. In your card's transaction history you will see a charge with a tagged "moved to pre-funding account" - this means that funds were transferred to our pre-funding account. After that, please contact our support team and let them know that you are waiting for funds in your wallet.
Upon receiving your request support specialists will transfer money to your Cryptopay wallet in the corresponding currency.

Please note: if you have multiple cards, you'll need to sign a separate form for each card.
