A good question , mainly gold is a risk-off investment , bitcoin in contrast is a risk-on investment , but I think most people will follow the crypto-trend because it is more attrastive ;)
Yes , but he raises a good point which is cryptocurrency until now is dependent on the traditional fiat money and the banking system to get in and out of cryptocurrency .
So it's kinda related still to what happens to stock and finance unlike gold it's value comes intrinsically
