At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price is sitting at $6,604 representing a loss of 1.77% in the last 24 hours. More than $360 M worth of BTC were exchanged in the BTC/USD market representing a 9% share of the global daily volume. The BTC/JPY pair represents a 35.7% share.

The Ethereum price has dropped 5.33% over the past 24 hours and is currently sitting at $457, with over $150 M worth of Ether exchanged in the past 24 hours on the ETH/USD pair which has a 20% market share of the daily trading volume.

Crypto Exchange Bancor Hacked, $12M
in Ether Stolen

Decentralized exchange Bancor stated that a vulnerability on the platform was exploited to steal 24,984 ETH (approx $12 million), $1 million worth of NPXS and $10 million worth of BNT. In a tweet made yesterday, Bancor stated:

Package Delivery Woes

With delivery being one of the most challenging aspects of online retail, Walmart is looking to solve the puzzle one blockchain patent at a time. The company was awarded a patent detailing an invention focusing on the delivery of packages as well as scheduling the delivery of these packages. Titled "Delivery Reservation Apparatus and Method” the patent talks of delivery hubs (locker docking station) which use a public ledger to determine available capacity and make reservations.
