Dear Investors and fellow traders,

When remembering correctly, I was looking for ways to properly manage my investments when I started accumulating coins a while back. At that time, I was actively searching for tools that would help me achieve my goals but couldn't find many spreadsheets that really helped me out or had all of the elements that I was looking for.

Most people either wanted to sell their work or didn't put in too much effort so I decided that I'd make one for myself. I love to work in Excel so I gave Google Sheets a try since this was the only way in which I could get live data from CoinMarketCap implemented in a sheet (this is a terrible job in Excel). This will be the first revision of my sheet that I share and I hope that we can improve it as a community with the help of everyone who feels an urge to chip in.

My goal here today is to share my spreadsheet that I use to track the progress of my investments per coin for free. To help others, with less knowledge get started and to improve my own skillsets as I will be phishing for valuable insight and feedback online in terms of improvements. Ultimately, creating a small community (telegram) that could work together to create an awesome custom portfolio manager. Sort of an open source development program, one might say.

Why Excel or Google Sheets over Blockfolio?

You might wonder why I don't just use Blockfolio on IOS? I like to keep my trading data offline (in Excel sheets) but I've put my Blockfolio application on "Watch only" to track all coins that currently have my interest.

Some points that would point out the main differences in the following table:

Etc.	Etc.

Now, with this tool, you can track all your coins and their current prices. The manager then compares this to the total amount (USD or EUR) that you invested in a particular coin to quickly assess the status (current ROI) of your investment, per coin. There's only a few variables that you need to link from other Google Sheets (example included) or import from Excel.

I've included some information regarding operation of the manager in the sheet itself for the total noobs amongst us, though it should be pretty straightforward.

PS At point of writing, my editing is crappy and I'm dead tired since I'm currently abroad on an internship, working 13 hours a day and struggling to find time to work on crypto.
