Coinbase Delayed? No Problem, Patience is Virtue...
Coinbase is a huge Bitcoin exchange and one of the largest in the world.
As the rush is on to move BTC off their exchange, delays are the woes that people are forced to face. The only way to get your hands on some free BCC (Bitcoin Cash) is to put it on an exchange that supports it or keep it in a hardware wallet.
According to a recent article:
The company is dealing with multiple issues and negative press on social media. The latest incident involves Bitcoin withdrawal delays. Apparently, a lot of people are moving their funds off Coinbase in anticipation of the Bitcoin Cash hard fork. This causes a massive backlog for the company, resulting in delays of 12 hours or more.
My Thoughts
Don't leave it until the last minute to get your BTC off Coinbase or it will be too late. Tons of users want to cash in on the free BCC but they may find that the altcoins they expected to buy back cheap have just been skyrocketed by whales looking to beat the crowd into the next bull run.
Nobody knows what will happen so there are exciting times to look forward to indeed around August 1st.

Same situation over here... requested withdraw 6 hours ago and still pending request... hope it will be done by tomorrow, otherwise no BCC for me either...
Coinbase is a joke considering how large it is. It seems downright criminal all the plays they've pulled off in the past few months. Are they really that incompetent? I doubt it.
I guess it's time to move everything into Kraken and forgot about them quite soon :)

STOPIn that boat... i was waiting for funds so i could purchase, made my purchase, sent it to my wallet.. that was about 14 hours ago and its still pending, i just hope it goes through at SOME point today.
