Japan Sentenced Jail to Crypto Miner for Remote Mining Case
Japanese district court has, sentenced a man for the first time to prison in a remote crypto mining case. Though, this case is completely different from previous cases of mining cryptocurrencies using other computers.
According to Nikkei, the Sendai District Court ruled on 2nd July, sentencing an unemployed 24 Year Old of the city of Amagasaki in Hyogo prefect's office to one year in prison, with the sentence suspended for three years.
According to the judgment, he attached a mining program into a tool that advances online games beneficially, in January to February, without defensible grounds, and released on his blog, downloaded on other person’s computer, and started mining.
