Crypocurrency - leading to cashless society and BIG BROTHER?

Hey folks,

Call me paranoid, or a conspiracy theorist? Well perhaps but ......

Read the following article on cryptocurrency as a disruptive technology, and you will find that large countries
such as CHINA are starting to embrace this technology....do we want this in western countries? Could it be
used against us rather than empowering us to interact free of a centralized control? These are good questions
as new coins are developed that have more relevance to our day-to day financial transactions.
It seems that people are just blindly accepting it - as only a good thing. But why the ill-considered spirit of optimism?
Could it be used by nefarious Governments and agencies to not only monitor our activities but subtly control us ( or overtly control us?). These are just questions - I am by no means trashing Cryptocurrencies. But perhaps we should throw a little caution to the wind and really step back and think carefully where this could lead for future generations.

If there is no access to a black market because of over-regulation to stop this very thing, then people will have no way
to stop indiscrimate sharing of their information with other agencies due to the development of centralized coins.
I propose this is what Governments probably want - of course I'm only speculating. Don't forget, they can look back retrospectively at our financial 'breadcrumbs' and see what we've been up to in the past as well. Do we want that level of privacy invasion?
Anyway, I am sure many here will disagree with my fears.....but I am just opening the door to a possible future,
an Orwellian nightmare such as the New World Order using a cashless society to not only prevent tax evasion but limit the masses ( proletariat) financial prosperity and keeping us from breaking outside of THEIR newly defined 'caste' system. AFter all, if the ELITE already own 90% of the worlds wealth -do you think they want the status quo 'disrupted'? I fear not, they will plan to use this technology to their own advantage and create a 'technocracy'. They have the money, organizational prowess and legal duress to pull it off - just look at the interest of Rothschilds and the like....
