LAST WEEK to register to run a stake pool on Cardano (ADA)
If you're interested in running a stake pool on Cardano, remember registration ends on April 30th. Here's their official announcement:
Cardano Stake Pool Registration:
"Cardano is progressing from the current centralised development phase of Byron to become decentralised as part of the Shelley phase. The development team at IOHK will be preparing the ground for community engagement in staking and delegation, with the associated incentives that come with staking. Starting in Q3 2018, decentralisation features will be tested with community participation through testnets and then released to the mainnet in stages."
"Parties interested in running a stake pool in the Shelley testnet are invited to register by completing the following form between April 5 and April 30, 2018. Shortly after registration closes, IOHK will provide details about when selected stake pools will be visible in Daedalus as part of the testnet. These will include associated user documentation and feedback channels."

Stake pools allow you to combine your coins with others so you've got a greater ability to mine whatever POS coin you're mining...in this case, it's Cardano.
