The Root and History of the term "HODL" 👏
This term is used thousands of times a day within the Crypto community within forum posts and memes. It simply means to Hold your position and not to sell, buy, or trade in any way. To hold the line, to hold the stash, to not get involved as the price will soon rise.
But where did this popular misspelled version originally come from?
Here is the answer.....a half-drunk post on Bitcointalk in 2013.

Always wondered about this!
