While an augmented reality mobile app used to collect funny-looking, digital critters might sound like a silly (or useless) service to re-architect with blockchain, the developers at ethereum startup FOAM make a compelling case.

"The problem is that people lie about their location," said Ryan John King, the co-founder and CEO of FOAM. Using a range of tutorials across the web, a tech-savvy Pokemon Go player could easily trick the game into thinking they're in Hong Kong, catching all the unique Pokemon there when really they're sitting in their apartment in Brooklyn, New York, he said.

Without an official public announcement, enthusiasts have precious few concrete details on which to hang hope. However, combine the retail legacy asset management company’s long time bullish attitude on bitcoin with what has been revealed this week through internal documents, and the spectre of a whale entering the ecosystem appears to be promising.

🗞 Bitfinex Exchange Resumes Trading After DDoS Attack

Bitfinex announced that it has resumed its trading services after containing a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack on Tuesday, June 5. The exchange first suffered issues with its trading engine which caused it to go offline briefly, and after fixing the issue, it was operational again. However, after less than an hour of activity, Bitfinex announced that it was experiencing a DDoS attack and that it was adjusting its protection measures to fend off the attackers. Happily, the attackers didn’t get away with any digital tokens or valuable information.

The BTC is helping us to make a pause in the drop that we were having since yesterday. However, the little UP is less powerfull than what we can see on the BTC and we are still far of the resistance line at 2.55$. We need to see what will happen during the next hours. It could be just a reversal before the continuation of the drop. If it is not the case, we should again soon try to go test the support line at 2.55$.
