Business:
- Ethereum blockchain information and data analysis can now be done on Google's BigQuery platform.
- To use public blockchain, enterprises have to be comfortable with the open source licenses that come with the blockchain. There are about 345 major types of open source licenses. "Copyleft" and "Permissive" are the 2 major types. Ethereum is using "Copyleft" and Bitcoin is using "Permissive".
Tech:
- Submarine swap which enables transactions between Lightning addresses and Bitcoin addresses is now live.
- Ethereum vs EOS: Ethereum is costly for dapp users. EOS is costly for dapp developers. On Ethereum, users have to pay gas for transactions. On EOS, developers have to purchase RAM, CPU and network bandwidth resources.
